BeeLive Community: Looking Back at Our Events… and Announcing What Comes Next

Since the launch of BeeLive Community, our ambition has always been clear: to create a true living experience around housing and community life. Before writing the next chapter of this journey, it felt essential to reflect on what we have built over the past months… and what we have learned. Because BeeLive Community is not a theoretical idea. It is a project that has been tested in real life, with real events, real partners, and a real community. Successful Events That Brought Together Over 120 People Over the past months, we organized several events that marked the beginning of BeeLive Community. Among them, two evenings particularly demonstrated the strength of the concept: An event at La Bambochella An event at Le Grand Écart These events gathered between 120 and 150 people, creating a festive, welcoming, and well-structured atmosphere. The objective was simple: To create moments of connection between residents, students, and young professionals, while highlighting local partner venues. And the results were clear. The venues were full. The energy was there. And most importantly, a genuine sense of community began to emerge. A Local Momentum That Attracted Many Partners Following these events, several local venues expressed interest in hosting future BeeLive Community gatherings. Bars and social venues were ready to collaborate, convinced by: The quality of the events The communication carried out beforehand The real attendance generated The profile of participants This local traction confirmed one essential point: there is a real need for structured communities built around housing and social connection. A Business Model That Required Too Much Scale Despite these visible successes, an economic reality became clear. The initial model relied mainly on: Advantage tickets offered to users Financial participation from partner venues Investments in communication and event production But in practice, several limitations appeared. Adoption of Advantage Tickets Was Still Too Low The advantage tickets were designed to offer: Discounts Exclusive access Special experiences However, only 12% to 20% of users actually purchased these tickets. While encouraging at a small scale, this adoption rate remained insufficient to cover the costs associated with organizing high-quality events. Significant Event Production Costs Creating quality events requires real investment. This included: DJ services Video production Communication materials Human time and logistical coordination Given the energy invested and the operational costs involved, the model became difficult to sustain without reaching much larger volumes. Insufficient Compensation from Partners Even though the events were full and clearly brought traffic to partner venues, the financial compensation offered was not sufficient to balance the model. In simple terms: the impact was real, but the profitability was not yet sustainable. Taking a step back became necessary to build stronger foundations. A Strategic Pause to Move Forward More Effectively Faced with these insights, we made an important decision: slow down in order to rethink. Rather than continuing with a fragile structure, we chose to refocus on what truly made BeeLive Community strong. And what remained after this first phase quickly became obvious. What Remains: A Growing Housing Community Beyond events, BeeLive Community helped bring together something much more structured than initially expected. Today: nearly 150 rooms are already listed within BeeLive Community. Behind these homes, there are: Engaged property owners Active residents Real living spaces A genuine local dynamic This foundation naturally became the starting point for what comes next. A Strategic Pivot… Without Changing the Vision This is not about stopping. This is about making a strategic pivot. The goal remains exactly the same: to create meaningful living experiences, not just provide housing. But the way we achieve that goal is evolving. Instead of building primarily around events, BeeLive Community will now focus on: Existing housing Partner property owners Resident quality of life Local collective dynamics This evolution marks the beginning of a new phase. A New Approach Focused on Housing and Property Owners Housing has always been at the heart of the project. Today, it becomes the central pillar of development. With nearly 150 rooms already listed, BeeLive Community holds a strong strategic advantage: a real physical community. Not just digital. Not just event-based. But rooted in real places and real people. This base will support the next stage of growth. The Next Chapter Starts Now The first events demonstrated one key reality: there is strong demand for structured communities. The lessons learned helped identify: What works What needs improvement What deserves to grow BeeLive Community is now entering a new phase. A phase built on: Real experience Existing housing Established relationships A clear long-term vision Because one thing has never changed: our objective remains to create living spaces that go beyond simple housing. This Is Not the End… It’s the Beginning of a New Chapter Every project goes through phases. Some are visible. Others are strategic. The events held at La Bambochella and Le Grand Écart will remain foundational moments. They allowed us to: Gather a real community Test a business model Identify its limits Open new opportunities Today, BeeLive Community is preparing to write the next chapter. And this next chapter will be built on what truly matters: homes, property owners, and the people who live within them.
